
BILBAO, SPAIN – OCTOBER 22: Emmanuel Addai of QarabagAzerbaijan-based Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Addai has disclosed that he grew up idoilising former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.Although he confessed being a Liverpool fan, Addai says he watched the Belgian religiously as he shaped his style.”Hazard was the one I watched the most. He doesn’t look flashy at first glance but his speed, dribbling, strength and power. I try to learn from him,’ he told 3Sports.While admitting to his love for Hazard, the 24-year-old also revealed that he also learns two-time World Cup winner, Ronaldo Nazario.”Growing up my favourite was Hazard. Deep down I admired Ronaldo Nazario. I didn’t watch him live but I learn from his videos,” he added.Addai also takes inspiration from African legends and former teammates from his favourite Liverpool, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.”Not exactly idolising Salah. Once I was a fan of Liverpool, I enjoyed the work he was doing in the team with Mane. They inspired that it is possible as an African to also play for Liverpool one day,” he said.Addai is enjoying a decent campaign this season, scoring four goals for Qarabag across all competition.
