Belgian-Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Sarfo netted his maiden goal to help Jong Genk secure a 2-0 victory over RFC Liege in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.

The 18-year-old right-back delivered a composed finish to double his side’s lead, capping an impressive performance that showcased his ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch. His display underlined his growing confidence as he continues to adapt to senior football with Genk’s second team.

Sarfo has been gradually earning opportunities and is beginning to justify the promise that has marked him as one of the club’s exciting young prospects. The defender, son of former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko player Francis Kumi, is carving out his own path in European football.

The breakthrough goal is expected to boost Sarfo’s confidence as he pushes to cement a regular place and continue his development in Belgium.
