Michelle Agyemang, an English-born Ghanaian forward, has moved to Brighton and Hove Albion Ladies in this transfer window.

The 18-year-old England youth international joined the Seagulls on a season-long loan from Arsenal.

Agyemang, who developed through Arsenal’s youth system, made the switch to Brighton to gain regular playing time this season.

“We’re delighted to welcome Michelle to the club. She is a goalscorer and an excellent playmaker,” said Brighto manage Dario Vidosic.

“It’s clear to see her talent and potential in the game and she will give us another exciting option in attack. We’re looking forward to seeing what she can add to our team this season,” he added.

Agyemang made her senior debut for Arsenal in 2022 against Leicester City in the Women’s Super League and scored her first goal in an FA Cup match against Leeds United in January 2023.

Born in England to Ghanaian parents, Agyemang is eligible to play for the Black Queens. She also featured for the Young Lionesses in the European U19 Championship semi-final this summer.
