Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa, has responded to a lawsuit filed against her by gospel musician Empress Gifty.
The suit accuses Agradaa of making damaging statements. Empress Gifty is therefore seeking GH₵20 million in damages.
According to court documents, the singer claims Nana Agradaa repeatedly used her social media platforms to spread false and damaging information that harmed her reputation, career, and emotional well-being.
Responding to the suit in a TikTok video sighted by Ghana Weekend on Wednesday May 21, Agradaa dismissed the legal action, saying, “Every idiot can go to court.”
“Every idiot can go to court… I have left the farm; I’m dealing with classy people now. So I don’t have time to come out and engage in banter with just anyone. I will beat Hopeson and Gifty – let me tell you — you can go to court 100 times, 200 times — I don’t give a damn.
For your stupid Hopeson Adorye to sit on the radio and say that I’m evil, that I should be beaten and killed, and then you, his wife, come out and insult me — someone else’s wife — that’s nonsense.
Let me tell you, those courts are used to scare, I am not one of them. If you sue me for $200 billion, I will sue your husband — in dollars.”
The dispute between the two public figures has sparked widespread attention, with Agradaa making it clear she is ready to fight back.
