Former member of Asante Kotoko’s management team, Thomas Boakye-Agyemang, has publicly expressed disappointment at the club’s decision to appoint Prince Owusu in an interim capacity following Karim Zito’s departure.

The former Vision FC head coach was immediately announced in an interim capacity with former Hearts of Oak assistant coach appointed to serve as his assistant.

Owusu was immediately introduced to the club’s playing body and other officials on the next day after Zito’s resignation as the Porcupine Warriors prepare to take on Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile Boakye-Agyemang, who is a former management member of the club, has taken to the club’s official Facebook page to express his disappointment in the decision by the IMC of the club.

“Haaaaa. Awurade Yawu! Sad. Very sad . Another sad day in Kotoko for supporters to be punished for no crime done. Ahhhhh,Prince Owusu? May Kotoko not get missing in the days ahead. Apem Beba,” he wrote.
