Ghanaian dancehall and Afropop artiste based in the Northern Region, known In real life Mujahid Ahmed Bello, recognized by his stage name as Fancy Gadam, has revealed to his loyal fans how the accident that caused the death of eight of his fans during a joint show with Patoranking in Tamale, almost ended his music career.
Speaking in an exclusive radio interview with award winning radio presenter Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, Fancy Gadam revealed that he nearly quit music after the accident that ended the lives of some of his fans in the northern part of Ghana.
The sad accident occurred in June last year in Tamale when Fancy Gadam was welcoming Patoranking in a grand style to the North for a concert dubbed ‘king of the north’.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the convoy of Fancy collided with a truck which resulted in other incoming cars ramming into the others. From the accident, 8 people died and 20 were injured.
Speaking about the accident with the host, Gaddam disclosed that, he almost gave up on his talent because the incident broke him down for a whole year without releasing any music project.
