Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan delivered the decisive moment as Amedspor secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Serikspor in Round 29 of the TFF First League on Friday night.
The 23-year-old striker scored the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute, finishing calmly to hand his side all three points in a tightly contested encounter.
Afena-Gyan’s latest strike means he has now scored two winning goals in his last three matches, underlining his growing importance to the team as they push for promotion in the Turkish second tier.
The Ghanaian attacker has enjoyed a productive campaign so far, registering four goals and five assists in 26 appearances for Amedspor across the current season.
The victory keeps Amedspor in third place with 58 points on the league table, and they will look to maintain their strong run of form when they travel to face Istanbulspor in their next league fixture.
