Ghana Football Association (GFA) referees instructor, Alex Quartey, has confirmed that FIFA referee Daniel Laryea will be available to officiate domestic games if the need arises.

Quartey, in an interview, stated that Laryea is mostly out of the country on assignments as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) assistant, a referee’s assistant or a main referee in CAF competitions.

However, Quartey added that whenever Laryea is available, the GFA will not hesitate to call upon him to officiate in the domestic league.

“Daniel Laryea is a professional referee, and he is often outside the country for assignments. He is a VAR and also goes as a main referee. But anytime he is available, we will use him. Last week, he did a match, and if the opportunity comes and he is in the country, we will definitely use him,” Quartey told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

The FIFA referee has a wealth of experience in both domestic and international competitions and is highly respected in the football community.
