The First Lady of Ghana, , is in Washington, D.C. to participate in the Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit, following an invitation from the First Lady of the , Melania Trump.

The two-day summit brings together first spouses from around the world to explore strategies aimed at creating a safer and more equitable digital environment for children.

Discussions are expected to focus on addressing online risks, promoting digital responsibility, and leveraging technology for child development.

Ahead of the summit, Mrs. Mahama reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to protecting children in the digital age, emphasizing the need to ensure that technology serves as a tool for empowerment rather than harm.
