Read on for the Southern Zone Preview:

SOCCER INTELLECTUALS VRS BERRY LADIES

Rejuvenated Berry Ladies will trek to Ajumako to battle Soccer Intellectuals in a dicey encounter. Berry Ladies are unbeaten in three consecutive games, managing a pulsating 2:2 draw with League leaders Hasaacas Ladies and a hard fought victory over Army Ladies. The host are also unbeaten in two games having shared the spoils with leaders Hasaacas Ladies at home. With relegation staring at them, the host would put up a good fight to boost their chances of survival – making this fixture daunting for both sides.

FAITH LADIES VRS SEA LIONS

Faith Ladies will welcome Sea Lions to the Carl Reindolf Park as the host battle for the maximum points to keep their title charge alive. The visitors go into this fixture knowing a loss will spell doom for them with two games to spare. The Carl Reindolf Park has been a fortress for visiting teams this season – tilting this fixture in favour of Faith Ladies who have lost only once at home. The host lie in second place in the League table, five points’ adrift of leaders Hasaacas Ladies whilst the visitors are rooted at the bottom with seven points.

LADYSTRIKERS VRS ARMY LADIES

Cape Coast based Ladystrikers will host Army Ladies in a crucial encounter at the Robert Mensah Stadium. The home side managed a draw in their clash against Berry Ladies – a game they had higher hopes of winning. Army Ladies have not been impressive in their last couple of League games, despite securing qualification to the final of the Women’s FA cup. The game which promises to be a delight to watch may be difficult to predict since the home side have the privilege of playing in front of their home fans. Army Ladies go into the game looking to build on their FA Cup success but the home invisibility of LadyStrikers put them in a tricky situation.

JONINA LADIES VRS HASAACAS LADIES

Jonina Ladies have a sturdy test against giants and former champions Hasaacas Ladies at the Anti Aku Astro turf. With three games to end the season, Jonina Ladies will be hoping to build on their momentum in the League by beating the leaders after sharing the spoils with Essiam Socrates on the road. Debutants, Jonina Ladies are 6th on the League table with 26 points whilst Hasaacas Ladies lead the pack with 32 points. The Sekondi Ladies are winless in their last two games and will be aiming to halt their winless run against a less fancied side in Jonina Ladies. The host are 10 points behind Hasaacas Ladies in the League log.

POLICE LADIES VRS ESSIAM SOCRATES

The Alajo Astro Turf will host the encounter between FA Cup finalists Police Ladies and Essiam Socrates. Police Ladies are beaming with confidence after qualifying for the Women’s FA Cup Final at the expense of Supreme Ladies. The Service Ladies have been impressive in their last five matches, following three wins and two draws. Essiam Socrates seems to be struggling in their quest for survival having secured only one point in their last two games. Police Ladies lie third in the League table with 22 points and are in pole position for a top four spot while Essiam Socrates sit in 9th place with 15 points.
