Head coach of Accra Lions FC, Ibrahim Tanko has described his team’s win against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League as a massive one.
The tactician on Wednesday afternoon guided his team to a historic first-ever win over the Phobians.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Ibrahim Tanko praised his players for executing their gameplay to win the tough clash against the Week 28 opponent of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
“Against Hearts of Oak, we knew it was going to be a tough game. We told the boys to play their normal game and definitely, the chances will come and we will make use of it. In all three points against Hearts of Oak is good,” the Accra Lions head coach said.
Following the win over Hearts of Oak, Accra Lions are now third in the Ghana Premier League standings.
In the next outing of the team, they will come up against Aduana Stars.
