Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew and his compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp scored a goal each to power Crystal Palace to a 4-3 victory over West Ham United at Selhurst Park in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Having failed to win their last two games against Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Eagles fought hard until the final whistle to secure a 4-3 win in a keenly contested London derby.
In a first half that produced five goals, it was the visitors who got the lead in the eighth-minute courtesy of a rebound from Tomas Soucek but Palace responded quickly by mounting massive pressure right after conceding which eventually got them the equaliser through Jordan Ayew.
The Ghana attacker scored after receiving a pass from Michael Olise inside the box and driving a shot into the bottom right corner.
Wilfred Zaha scored in the 20th minute to put Palace in front before Jeffrey Schlupp increased the lead in the half-hour mark while Michail Antonio pulled one back for the Hammers 10 minutes to halftime.
Eze scored the fourth goal for Palace from a spot kick in the 66th minute but West Ham left it late in getting a consolation through Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd to redeem himself having caused a penalty previously.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew has now contributed to four goals in his last six games scoring three and assisting once.
