Ghana international Brandon Thomas-Asante delivered a standout performance to inspire Coventry City to a commanding victory over Swansea City in the English Championship.
The Black Stars striker started and lasted 62 minutes as Coventry City secured an emphatic 3-0 away win on Saturday evening in the Matchday 39 encounter, held at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Thomas-Asante set the tone for the visitors with a composed finish from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute, confidently opening the scoring after Coventry were awarded a spot-kick.
Just six minutes later, England international Matt Grimes doubled Coventrys advantage with a well-taken goal in the 38th minute, putting the hosts firmly on the back foot before halftime.
The visitors continued their dominance as Tatsuhiro Sakamoto added a third goal before the break, effectively sealing the contest in the first half with a clinical attacking display.
With no further goals after the interval, Coventry City comfortably saw out the game to claim all three points and strengthen their position in the league standings.
Thomas-Asante has been in impressive form this season, registering 12 goals and four assists in 27 Championship appearances, underlining his importance to Coventrys attacking setup.
