Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman made his first appearance for English outfit Brighton and Hove Albion in their pre-season game against Kashima Antlers in Japan.
The 19-year-old forward travelled with the team to Tokyo for the pre-season tour of Japan, where the team will play two matches.
Osman was named in the starting eleven for the match against Kashima Antlers as the Premier League side tore apart their opponents 5-1 on Wednesday morning.
Fellow summer arrival and Gambian forward Yankuba Minteh opened the scoring in the 15th minute as the Seagulls went into the break with a goal advantage.
The entire team was replaced after the break before Jeremy Sarmiento and Yasin Ayari added two quick-fire goals in the second half. Amario Cozier-Duberry added a brace to make it 5-0 before Homare Tokuda netted a late consolation for the hosts.
Brighton will next face Tokyo Verde as preparations continue for the upcoming season.
