Stephen Ayesu Ntim, National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), commended the current government for guiding Ghana from the brink of despair to a path of economic recovery.

At the party’s manifesto launch in Takoradi on August 18, Ntim acknowledged the country’s challenges, particularly during global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

He credited the government with implementing effective measures to alleviate these hardships.

While Ntim conceded that Ghana has not fully recovered, he emphasized the significant progress achieved under the current leadership. “Under the visionary leadership of the president, Ghana has risen from the brink of despair.

We are on the right path towards economic prosperity and have undertaken essential reforms for good governance within our stable democracy,” Ntim said.

He highlighted key administration achievements, including the introduction of the Free Senior High School policy, the establishment of STEM and TVET schools, mobile money interoperability, and the launch of Agenda 111.

Ntim urged voters to support the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming elections to build on the progress made.

The launch event took place at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region. Top party and government officials were in attendance.
