Ghana international midfielder Kwasi Sibo is bent on keeping his place at Spanish outfit, Real Oviedo.Sibo has recently established himself as a key member of the Black Stars team, delivering standout performances in the latter part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.Drafted into the squad late due to Parteys fitness concerns and Elisha Owusus suspension before the Mali clash in Accra on September 8, Sibo seized his opportunity, playing full throttle on his debut and also earning praises from head coach Otto Addo.Despite winning the heart of a chunk of Ghanaian football loving fans, the bulky midfielder has vowed to work hard at club level to maintain his place in the national team.I am going to fight for my place at Oviedo to play more regularly every weekend, he declared. Thats one thing Im focusing on working hard to be in the team every weekend to play in the league. He told Graphic Sports.The 27-year-old has made six appearances out of 11 games in the Spanish La Liga this season.
