Ghana Black Queens midfielder Stella Nyamekye has completed a transfer to Norwegian club SK Brann from NJ/NY Gotham FC, both clubs announced on Tuesday.The move includes an undisclosed fee and is pending clearance of her International Transfer Certificate.Nyamekye spent the second half of last season on loan with Fort Lauderdale United in the USL Super League, where she made 14 appearances and contributed one goal and two assists.Prior to her time in the United States, the midfielder played for Ghanaian club Dreamz Ladies FC.Gotham FC’s general manager and head of soccer operations, Yael Averbuch West, expressed pride in Nyamekye’s development during her time with the club.”We’re proud of the progress Stella has made during her time with Gotham FC,” Averbuch West said. “This move gives her the opportunity to step into a new environment and continue building on that growth. We’re excited to see her take this next step and will be closely following her success at SK Brann.”Nyamekye recently featured for the Black Queens at the Pink Ladies Cup in Dubai, where she scored in Ghana’s 4-0 victory over Russia.
