In addition to seeking answers, the GNUTS highlighted the urgency of support for the impacted traders, many of whom are parents with children in school.

They called on the government and private individuals to extend assistance, as these traders face significant hardships in the aftermath of the fire.

The Union’s statement not only addresses immediate concerns but also aims to foster a more resilient and secure marketplace for all Ghanaians.

The call to action seeks to mobilize collective efforts to safeguard the livelihoods of traders and the wellbeing of their families during these challenging times.
