Lovers of stage plays can catch ”You Play Me I Play You” at the National Theatre and Bukom Square Arena in Accra on November 8 and 9, 2024.
“You Play Me I Play You” is an engaging socio-cultural satire, written by the legendary late playwright Efo Kodjo Mawugbe.
The production features an exceptional cast, including Jeneral Ntatia (Ghana), Brain Jotter (Nigeria), Adwoa Orleans and Clemento Suarez (Ghana), under the direction of Fiifi Coleman.
Produced by Africa Arts Network -in partnership with Challenging Heights, the media launch of the Ghana – Nigeria theatre collaboration took place on Thursday, September 5 2024 at the Accra Tourist Information Centre (ATIC).
The launch was attended by some of the cast of the play including Brain Jotter, Adwoa Orleans, Jeneral Ntatia, and Clemento Suarez. Legendary Ghanaian actor David Dontoh, filmmaker Socrate Sarfo, the director of the play Fiifi Coleman and iconic rapper Trigmatic also graced the star-studded media launch.
‘You Play Me, I Play You’ will be staged at the National Theatre on November 8 and the Bukoom Square Arena on November 9.
