Ghana U-20 head coach Desmond Ofei has expressed confidence that his side will be more clinical in front of goal when they face defending champions Senegal in their second Group C match at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.Speaking after the 1-1 draw with DR Congo in their opening match on Thursday, Ofei acknowledged the need to take chances when they come but remained positive about his teams overall performance.”Unfortunately, we conceded that goal. But I feel like we dominated the game. We have to finish our chances and it will surely happen in the next game,” he said.The Black Satellites came from behind to earn a point in their first group fixture at the Suez Stadium in Egypt.After a cautious start, DR Congo took the lead in the 16th minute when Samuel Ntanda finished off a defence-splitting pass from Messy Manitu.Ghana responded just eight minutes later, as Aziz Musibau calmly slotted home after a precise through ball from Emmanuel Mensah.Despite both sides pushing for a winner, the second half saw a mix of wasted opportunities and strong defensive displays.Ghana, though threatening on the counter, could not find a second goal.Ghana’s next game against Senegal will be played on May 5.
