German-born Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu is reportedly on his way out of VfL Bochum, with several clubs expressing interest in securing his services.

Among the interested parties is Bolton Wanderers from England’s League One. Journalist Philipp Rentsch, who is close to the club, revealed that Jordi Osei-Tutu favors a move to England.

In a surprising turn of events, Jordi Osei-Tutu featured in Bochum’s preseason game under new head coach Peter Zeidler against Rot Weiss Ahlen. Wearing the number 47 jersey without a player name, he scored the equalizer in the 87th minute and subsequently converted a penalty to secure a 3-1 win for VfL.

Despite this impressive performance, Jordi Osei-Tutu’s future at Bochum remains uncertain. The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at PAS Giannis in the Greek Super League but managed only eight appearances. Jordi Osei-Tutu’s current market value is estimated at 500,000 euros, according to Transfermarkt.
