Ghanaian winger Gabriel Quartey is on the verge of signing with Danish Superliga club AaB after an impressive trial period.
The 17-year-old caught the eye of club officials with his speed and dribbling ability during training sessions and a test match against Vendsyssel FF.
His performances have reportedly convinced the club to secure his signature, with the deal expected to be finalised early next year when Quartey turns 18 in January.
Quartey began his football journey with Givova Sporting Academy, a Division Two side in Ghana, and is now poised to take the next step in his career by joining AaB.
The young talent is set to start with the club’s U19 team while also training periodically with the Superliga squad, providing him with a platform to develop his skills and chase his dream of top-level football.
Reports from Danish media outlet Nordjyske indicate that Quartey’s integration into the North Jutland-based club will officially commence in the new year.
