Benedicte Simon played a key role as Servette FC Chênois Féminin clinched the Swiss Women’s Cup title with a narrow 1-0 victory over BSC Young Boys Women in the final.
The Ghanaian defender, part of the Ghana women’s national football team setup, was instrumental at the back as Servette delivered a disciplined performance to secure the win. The triumph marks Servette’s third Swiss Women’s Cup success in four years, underlining their dominance in domestic women’s football.
Having joined the club in 2025, Simon has quickly established herself as a reliable figure in the team’s defence. Her composure and defensive awareness were evident throughout the final, helping her side keep a clean sheet against a determined Young Boys side.
Servette’s victory further cements their status as one of the top teams in Switzerland, while Simon continues to enhance her growing reputation ahead of future assignments with the Black Queens.
