Twenty Black Princesses, accompanied by the technical team, departed Accra late on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
They are en route to South Africa for the second leg of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.
In the first leg, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana and South Africa played to a 2-2 draw. Now, Ghana is determined to secure a victory in the return fixture to advance to the fourth round of the qualifiers.
The return match is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa.
Ghana aims to secure their eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Poland in September 2026.
