Ghana’s Musah Mohammed shines with assist in Bodrumspor’s victory over Konyaspor

Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed played a pivotal role in Bodrumspor’s 2-1 triumph over Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday evening, contributing an assist in the well-earned victory.

The match, held at Bodrum İlçe Stadı, saw Bodrumspor secure their first win against Konyaspor, who had previously held a superior head-to-head record. Mohammed started the game and played the full 90 minutes, showcasing his skill and endurance.

Konyaspor dominated possession, but Bodrumspor was more threatening with their shots. The deadlock was broken in the 28th minute with an own goal by Adil Demirbag of Konyaspor. Bodrumspor doubled their lead in the 40th minute when George Puscas scored, assisted by a through ball from Musah Mohammed.

Konyaspor pulled one back just before halftime with a free kick from Pedrinho. However, Bodrumspor secured their victory in the 88th minute when Kenan Özer converted a penalty.

Bodrumspor will next face Göztepe in their upcoming league game on August 31st.
