Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has extended a partnership opportunity to Malfred Kwame Kudu—widely known as Kwame Lighter the viral iPhone repair expert from Kumasi after a meeting on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
In a detailed post on his official Instagram page on Thursday April 10, the Ningo-Prampram MP revealed that, on behalf of the John Mahama-led administration, he had offered Kwame Lighter a collaborative role aimed at expanding training opportunities for young Ghanaians in the field of information technology.
As part of this initiative, George announced plans to establish a specialised programme through the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, in collaboration with Kwame Lighter.
The Minister emphasised that the partnership would allow Malfred to share his expertise on a larger scale, contributing significantly to Ghana’s goal of becoming a leading, tech-forward nation.
