Actress Efia Odo has been slammed over the exorbitant price of palm wine in her restaurant.
Odo apparently has a restaurant located at East Legon known as Eats Avenue where the most expensive palm wine in the country is sold.
A gallon of palm wine which typically sells for between Ghc 40 and Ghc 70 is reportedly selling for Ghc 500 at Eat’s Avenue!
In fact, a calabash of palm wine goes for Ghc 50 at restaurant – a figure which anywhere else should get you a full gallon!
A social media user visited the restaurant to rail against the exorbitant ‘palmi’ price.

The videos sparked mixed reactions.
“What people don’t understand is what goes into “pricing” an item. How much a business pays for rent, salary for workers, electricity bill, etc.
“So you can’t compare these two people at all..if you like, go to the farmer and buy directly from them. Those who don’t have the time will go to Efia,” one netizen defended her.
Another dragged her: “…Palm wine that my uncle supplies gallon for 40ghc – 70ghc and it’s selling for 500ghc Ad3n🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️”
