CASA Ashanti Ltd. has been adjudged the Best Food, Beverage and Entertainment Company in the Ashanti Region at the 2025 Ghana National Tourism Awards, marking yet another major achievement for one of Ghana’s most respected hospitality brands.
The award, presented at a colourful ceremony in Accra on November 14, celebrates the restaurant’s remarkable contribution to shaping the region’s dining and entertainment landscape.
The event, themed “Celebrating Ghanaian Ingenuity and Excellence in Tourism: The Black Star Experience,” brought together prominent figures from government, business, and the tourism sector.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah; Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie; Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene; leading business executives; and several distinguished guests.
Owned by Mr. Albert Akwasi Amoako and Mrs. Thelma Owusu Amoako, CASA Ashanti is widely regarded as the pioneer of fine dining in the Ashanti Region.
With branches in both Kumasi and Accra, the restaurant introduced a new benchmark for culinary excellence, ambience and service delivery at a time when fine dining was uncommon in the region. Its success has since inspired a new generation of restaurants and hospitality ventures that now look to CASA as the blueprint for modern dining in Kumasi.
The entrepreneurial couple has expanded their footprint within the hospitality industry with the establishment of Luuma, Cedar and Olives—restaurants that have gained popularity for corporate events, social gatherings and executive leisure. Their continued investment has further strengthened their influence on the region’s lifestyle and entertainment scene.
CASA Ashanti and its owners have consistently earned recognition on various industry platforms for outstanding service delivery, innovative dining concepts and leadership in the hospitality sector.
This year’s honour follows CASA’s success at the 2024 National Tourism Awards, where it was named Best Restaurant in Kumasi, Category A.
The consecutive wins position CASA among the Ghana Tourism Authority’s most consistently performing hospitality brands, reaffirming its status as a leading force in the nation’s tourism and hospitality space.
The recognition also underscores the broader impact of the Amoakos, whose vision continues to elevate the standard of dining and entertainment in the Ashanti Region and beyond.
