Ghanaian singer Gyakie has taken to social media to highlight why she believes her project deserves recognition in the Album/EP of the Year category at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

In a post on X, the singer reminded fans that her project made a significant impact locally. “The only album by a female that went number one in the country btw. I say make I remind una,” she wrote, referring to her album After Midnight.

After Midnight is nominated in the Album/EP of the Year category alongside major projects including Torcher by Stonebwoy, Iron Boy by Black Sherif, Disturbation II by Medikal, Walk With Me by Kweku Smoke, and Ready by Wendy Shay. The Telecel Ghana Music Awards is scheduled for May 9, 2026, and will celebrate outstanding achievements in Ghanaian music.
