Hackman Owusu Agyemang, a member of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has praised the Executive Forum (Young Executive Forum) for its ongoing support and active participation in promoting the party’s vision. He described the Executive Forum as a “dynamic force” that has consistently worked to strengthen the NPP, acknowledging its significant role in driving the party’s activities forward.

“You are the future of the party,” he stated, addressing members at a recent donation to the NPP’s campaign event held in Accra,Hon. Agyemang revealed that the party launched a new mentoring initiative aimed at developing a new generation of young party activists who can take on future leadership roles. The program will focus on instilling the core values and vision of the NPP, ensuring that the next crop of leaders is well-prepared to uphold the party’s principles he added.

Mr. Owusu Agyemang revealed that 50 young individuals have been selected for the mentoring program, which will provide them with the necessary training and tools to become seasoned leaders. He appealed to the Executive Forum to support this initiative by assisting with resources and guidance for the selected participants, emphasizing the need for deliberate efforts to groom future party leaders. Expressing concern over the current lack of a structured approach to leadership development within the party, he highlighted the importance of nurturing future leaders who can deliver positive change. “Leadership is about change that produces positive results,” he noted, adding that the Council of Elders is committed to ensuring that the party has a tested and capable leadership pipeline for the future.

The NPP elder also praised the Executive Forum (EF) for its continued contributions to the party, stating that their efforts are already yielding positive outcomes. He encouraged the group to maintain its dedication and drive, reinforcing the idea that building a strong and resilient party requires not only current support but also investment in future leadership.

The donation event in Accra showcased the Executive Forum’s commitment to the NPP, as it continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the party’s trajectory. With the mentoring program set in motion, the Council of Elders aims to foster a new generation of leaders who can carry forward the legacy and vision of the NPP.
