German Club Hannover 96 have agreed a deal with Deportivo Alaves for Ghana attacker Patrick Twumasi.
The forward is all set to join the Bundesliga II side after both teams agreed terms.
Hannover’s bid for the Ghana International was accepted by the Spanish La Liga side who were initially reluctant on releasing the player.
Twumasi is now expected to have his medical with the German Club in the coming days.
The former Bundesliga side made the 26-year-old their prime target after the player excelled on loan at Turkish side Gaziantep FK.
Deportivo Alaves loaned Twumasi to Gaziantep FK in January where the former Astana goal poacher went on to score six goals for the Turkish Super Lig side.
He however turned down a request from Gaziantep to sign him on a permanent deal.
Hannover 96 now seem to have won the race for the impressive winger ahead of Turkish Clubs Hatayspor and Denizlispor as well as fellow German side VfB Stuttgart who were also in hunt for the former Red Bull Academy product.
