Jeffery Ebo Arhin has been going viral after returning a lost purse containing GH¢200 and some coins, which he found on the school premises.
.His commendable action has not only earned him praise but also tangible rewards, including a GH¢1,000 cash gift and some hampers.
The headmistress of SWESCO, Golda Esi Andam, expressed her pride in Jeffery’s honesty and revealed that the rewards would be presented to him during a school assembly to inspire other students.
Despite facing mockery from some peers who questioned his decision to return the money, Jeffery stood firm in his principles, demonstrating that integrity outweighs short-term gains.
In light of Jeffery’s exemplary behaviour, many Ghanaians have taken to social media, advocating for him to receive a full scholarship to further his education. One notable comment stated, “This kind gesture is to encourage other students to emulate Jeff’s good behaviour.”
