The Healing in Harmony concert by the Leukaemia Foundation held under this year’s theme: A Night of Music and Hope.”, was successfully held yesterday, 23rd November 2025, at the Accra Marriott Hotel.
The event was organised by the Leukemia Foundation of Ghana as part of its ongoing efforts to support blood cancer patients across the country and the African continent.
Originally announced as a special night of music and advocacy the concert featured a powerful collaboration with renowned USA-based concert pianist, Dr. George François. What unfolded was more than a musical performance it became a platform to amplify the voices of Leukemia patients in Ghana and beyond, many of whom continue to struggle with the high cost and limited accessibility of treatment.
The night aimed to raise funds towards the construction of a Hematology and Clinical Genetics Center in Ghana, a facility expected to transform the diagnosis and management of blood cancers in the country.
Through music, storytelling, and emotional testimonies, the event highlighted the urgent need for improved support systems for patients battling Leukaemia.
The atmosphere at the Marriott was filled with compassion, purpose, and renewed hope, as guests rallied behind the cause to bring better treatment closer to home.
