Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Patrick Razak, says his side is well stocked with enough quality players to fight for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.
The 20-time league winners last won a league title in the 2008/9 season and haven’t won it since then.
Players of the club led by their coach, Edward Nii Odoom, have all said this season, they’ll end their over ten-years trophy drought.
Razak, 25, who rejoined the club in the just ended transfer window, stated with the quality the club has, it can compete with every team in the league and stands a better chance of winning the league.
“We have a good squad in the Hearts of Oak team. Those of us in this squad will give good performances this season. Our target for the season is to win the Ghana Premier League,” he told Ocean TV.
“Hearts of Oak have the chance of winning the GPL with the quality we have; we can compete against any team.
“I would say our capabilities of winning are high and we know the strength of teams in Ghana so I will say Hearts can win the League,” he concluded.
Hearts of Oak have signed players like Abednego Tetteh, Nuru Sulley, Eric Dizan, and Dankuma Kuti to augment to their squad for the start of the season.
Aduana Stars will host the Phobians on November 14, 2020 on matchday one of the new season at Dormaa.
