Ghana Black Stars and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has once again been shortlisted for the Goalkeeper of the Month award by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union for January 2026 in the Ghana Premier League.
Asare, who kept three clean sheets and contributed to two victories for his team, is a favorite to win the award this season. However, his teammate at FC Samartex, Musah Zakari, also had an impressive performance last month, keeping four clean sheets and securing three victories, making him a strong contender for the award.
Other nominated goalkeepers include Benjamin Aseidu of Bechem United and Rahman Osman of Dreams FC.
