Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have parted ways with Charles Kwateng, manager of commercial affairs of the club, Ghana Sports Online can confirm.
Kwarteng, who was appointed into the role in September 2019, leaves the club just weeks after the Phobians won double in the Ghanaian season.
However a source close to the EMBA, MA and BA holder resigned from his role and was not fired as per reports picked up by Ghana Sports Online.
“Charles resigned from his role and was not sacked as it is being made to believe,” the source told Ghana Sports Online.
Kwarteng was responsible for the club’s marketing outlook and device strategies to develop the Hearts of Oak brand as a viable global business.
More departures are expected at the club in the coming days as the Phobians embark on massive restructuring exercise to give the club a new outlook.
