Parliament, led by Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has opened a Book of Condolence in memory of the eight Ghanaians who died in the recent helicopter crash.
According a statement issued on Tuesday August 12, 2025, the book will made available in the foyer of Parliament House and is open to Members of Parliament, State Officials, and the general public from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Among the deceased were two Ministers of State, technocrats, and service personnel who, according to Parliament, made significant contributions to the nation.
This initiative allows citizens and officials to write messages of sympathy and pay tribute to the victims. Parliament says it stands with the entire country in mourning and prays for strength and peace for the bereaved families.
