Hohoe United have been handed a three-match home ban and fined GHS30,000 by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee following misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match against Vision FC last month.According to the decision, the club was found guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials, allowing unauthorised entry into restricted areas and failing to control supporters who threw objects onto the field of play. The home match ban takes immediate effect, while the club has been given 14 days to pay the fine. Hohoe United have also been formally warned that any further misconduct could attract more severe sanctions. The punishment comes as a major setback for Hohoe United in their fight to avoid relegation. They are currently just two points above the drop zone despite winning three of their last four matches. The ban could significantly affect their survival hopes, considering the teams strong home form this season.Hohoe United will now have to select an alternative venue for their next three home matches against Dreams FC, Bechem United and Berekum Chelsea. The club is also expected to consider the option of appealing the decision.
