Leader of the New African Force and Presidential hopeful, Nana Kwame Bediako widely known as Cheddar has responded to claims of him having criminal records in the United Kingdom.
In a TikTok live video hosted by his followers, the businessman seeking to lead the country in 2025 as President answered various questions of concerns from his followers and amongst them was the rumours surrounding his criminal records during his period in the UK.
In his response, Cheddar affirmed that indeed he has been arrested several times by the UK police and that was during his ‘boyhood’ days but holds no criminal charges or whatsoever. He mentioned that there is no such records against him as being arrested and charged for criminal activities.
“I have no criminal records. I grew up in London. In the times that I was in London, I have been arrested driving cars and I have been arrested doing night clubs but I don’t have any criminal records for being arrested to be charged,” he said.
He then challenged and called out individuals or groups maintaining that he has bad and criminal records in the UK to provide evidences and proof to their claims. He noted that, it was worthy of clarifying this issue because he is aware people are trying to publish such news on the internet.
“If someone is claiming I have criminal records, he or she should bring the charge and the proof”, he added.
Cheddar who recently launched his Save Ghana Fund further said, he believes these fast-spreading rumours are the works of people whom he described as his enemies. He added that, even though those are plots to bring him down, he will play the apathy music and leave them to God for he knows they won’t succeed.
