Multiple award winning Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene has dismissed claims that his music career is fading, saying his legacy is still intact.
In an interview on Asempa FM monitored by Ghana Weekend, on Saturday July 5, the “Angela” hitmaker listed several of his hit songs, including Wish Me Well, Open Gate, and No Dulling, insisting his impact is far from forgotten.
“They play my songs at weddings and parties across the country. How can I be forgotten?” he asked.
He also highlighted the cultural relevance of his music and stressed that it would take years for his name to fade from memory.
The former Lynx Entertainment signee rose to fame after winning MTN Hitmaker Season 5 and is known for fusing highlife with afrobeats.
