It appears highlife musician Kwame Kaakyire Fosu, popularly known as KK Fosu, is really serious about his political ambitions.

He has reiterated his intentions to contest for the Akuapem North parliamentary seat in 2024.

Speaking in an interview on CTV, he said as a “freedom fighter”, he is ready to serve and fight for his people.

The ‘Anadwo Ye De’ added that he also intends to create more awareness about agriculture and encourage the youth to venture into it.

“I want us to build agriculture. When it happens, people won’t rush for white-collar jobs,” he noted.

According to KK, he will be running as an independent candidate because he has people from all the political parties that love him and what he believes in.

He added that even if he joins a political party, he may not get the opportunity to contest as an MP in any of their constituencies.
