Music producer, Hammer has opened up about why he did not take money from artistes who recorded in his studio.

According to him, he wanted to exert his authority and be able to correct artistes when they were not doing well with the music hence the decision to record for free.

“The reason why I don’t take money is because if the music is not good I cannot correct you if you’ve paid. You’ve paid me and so if you’ve paid me I have to shut up and play,” he told Bola Ray on Starr FM.

However, “I want to tell you that you’re not good if you’re not good so you go home and work on your craft and come back so I did not take money. I accept that you’re good so you’ll come to the studio and somebody is sweeping Okrah and Motia the beast master. Bad boys and you’ll never see them coming but if you come and park your car they will burn you in the studio.

I have soldiers that I believe in. So what I do is I finish the work and look for Executive producers. So when I finished Pae Mu Ka I sent it to Abraham and told him this is the future, he didn’t believe it but I told him this is the future trust me,” he said.
