Fueled by frustration with the state of the movie industry and a desire to avoid speculation around his passing, Oboy Siki shared his story on Kofi TV.
He revealed witnessing the struggles of colleagues after voicing his criticisms of the industry. This, coupled with a personal dream, led him to petition God for a specific lifespan.
“I dreamt God granted me permission…and ever since the thought of death has lingered.” He declared
Fearing misinterpretations of his eventual demise, Oboy Siki emphasized his belief that only God controls life and death. He expressed concerns about potential accusations of curses or foul play, especially from pastors and Ghanaians, if his passing went unannounced.
