Over 350 insurance industry players are set to gather at the Rock City Hotel for the 2026 Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE). This year’s programme is centered on the theme: “Building Resilience in a Socio-Political Environment.”

The four-day event, scheduled from March 24 to 28, 2026, will bring together key stakeholders—including regulators, brokers, and industry leaders—to deliberate on emerging challenges and opportunities within the sector. The conference is proudly sponsored by SIC, WAICA Re, SIC Life, Enterprise, and Star Assurance Group.

Event Highlights

The conference officially opens on March 25 with a ceremony chaired by Abiba Zakariah, the National Insurance Commissioner. The Special Guest of Honour, Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson, is expected to deliver the keynote address.

Stephen Kwarteng Yeboah, President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG), will deliver the welcome address. Additionally, goodwill messages are expected from the Ghana Insurers Association and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana.

Key Sessions & Speakers

The itinerary features business sessions, panel discussions, and presentations focused on industry resilience. Highlights include:

International Perspective: A presentation by Chijioke Nwafor (Nigeria insurance industry) with insights from Bernard Ohemeng (Deputy Commissioner, NIC).

High-Level Engagement: Sessions with business mogul Sam Jonah and representatives from the Office of the Special Prosecutor, led by Sammy Darko.

Workplace Wellness: A dedicated session on stress and professional relationships led by Ebo Whyte.

The event concludes on March 28 following a final day of community outreach, sports activities, and a closing awards dinner.
