Guinean boxer Ibrahima Diallo Jr. has expressed excitement ahead of his return to Ghana, where he is set to headline the upcoming Legacy Rise Sports boxing event bill.
Diallo, who defeated Sampson Segbedzi at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium last year, will face Godson Amuzu in a bout to defend his WBA Africa Welterweight title. The fight is scheduled for Friday, April 10, at the iconic Bukom Boxing Arena.
The undefeated fighter, boasting 16 professional wins, has been intensifying preparations, training at Will Power Boxing Gym before wrapping up sessions at the fight venue.
Diallo praised Ghana’s rich boxing culture, describing Bukom as a global boxing hub. He also called on fans to turn out in their numbers, promising an exciting performance.
Despite his calm appearance, Diallo warned opponents not to underestimate him, insisting he becomes a dangerous force once inside the ring.
He further commended Legacy Rise Sports Promotions for organizing high-quality boxing events in Ghana.
