Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, a prominent Nigerian actor and industry figure, has announced he will divorce his wife of 47 years if Kamala Harris does not win the upcoming US presidential election.
In a bold Instagram post, Charly Boy expressed his belief that after the election of the first Black male president, the US should now have a Black female president.
He stated, “If Kamala Harris doesn’t win, I will divorce my wife. America deserves a Black female president after having its first Black male president.
Apologies to the Rednecks. That’s just how we roll.”
With President Joe Biden stepping down after a poor debate against former President Donald Trump, Kamala Harris emerged as a leading contender for the Democratic nomination.
Recent reports suggest she has secured significant support and key backers.
If she becomes the Democratic candidate, she will face Donald Trump in the presidential race.
