King Faisal’s new coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu is confident he is the right man to save the club’s season in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Dreams FC manager took over as the new boss for the Insha Allah boys following the sack of Jimmy Cobblah who struggled to record positive results for the team leaving them in the relegation zone.

Osei-Fosu believes he has a track record that can enable him to lead King Faisal into a respectable position by the end of their campaign.

“The reality is that I’m results-oriented. I saved Dreams FC, and I’m here to save King Faisal, too,” Osei-Fosu said.

Osei-Fosu who has also worked previously with Medeama SC has also declared the league title as a possibility for his team.

“When you look at the points build-up, it’s possible we can win the League,” Osei-Fosu stated.

He took charge of his first game on Wednesday evening against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium in a game that ended goalless despite King Faisal finishing with ten men.

King Faisal are currently 10th on the log with 32 points after 25 matches.

Osei-Fosu will now focus on the team’s FA Cup quarterfinal matchup with Aduana Stars on Sunday before returning to Ghana Premier League action with a clash against his former team Dreams FC on April 16th.
