Hearts of Oak offensive midfielder Ibrahim Salifu has insisted that he won’t be carried by his latest MVP award.
The 20-year-old hogged the headlines following his impressive performance for the Phobians in their 2-0 win over King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Salifu was the architect of the opening goal which was scored by Kwadwo Obeng Junior and was the top performer on the evening.
He spoke at the end of the game and insisted he won’t be carried away.
“Winning man of the match is good for me.
“However, I will not let it end there, I will continue to listen to the coaches and continue to give my best in the remaining matches.” Ibrahim Salifu said.
He has won 6 MVP awards at Eleven Wonders and Hearts of Oak combined and provided 6 assists in the process.
