Veteran Kumawood actor, Paa George, has dismissed rumors circulating on social media that he has passed away, describing the reports as false and misleading.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 3, 2026, photos of the actor went viral online, with several posts carrying captions such as “RIP.” Some blogs and news platforms even went as far as claiming to confirm his death.
However, in a video sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, the respected actor set the record straight, firmly stating that he is alive and in good health.
The actor further revealed that he has a covenant with God to live until the age of 96. According to him, he is currently 88 years old and will turn 89 on May 3, leaving him with seven more years to reach the age he believes he has agreed upon with his Maker.
“I have a covenant with God that I will die at 96 years. I am now 88, going to 89 on May 3. So I still have seven more years to live,” he stated confidently.
He also cautioned those spreading the false reports to desist from such acts, warning that making such claims about someone’s life is not right.

“Those spreading the lies and false rumours, if they are not careful, they will even die for me to bury them before I die,” he said.
Paa George emphasized that he remains strong and well, urging the public to disregard the rumors making rounds online.
“So Paa George is not dead. I am very much alive,” he said.
