Indigo O2 is not big enough; I’m scared about an overflow – Patapaa

Musician Patapaa has shown doubts towards his critics who made fun of him and believe he cannot fill the Indigo O2 in London.

Patapaa has rather challenged his opposers stating the 2,800-capacity venue would not be enough to contain his fans on the day he will perform at the venue.

After rapper Medikal sold out the Indigo O2 for his concert last month, Patapaa tweeted that he could also make that happen and requested for contacts to the venue.

His comment was taken as a ‘joke’ and many Ghanaians brushed off the musician’s vision.

However, speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Patapaa whose real name is Justice Amoa said he will over-fill the Indigo O2 stressing that he’s “scared about an overflow due to the venue’s capacity.”

“Surely, my team and I will make it happen. We will fill the Indigo at The O2. My fans all over Europe, especially those in the UK, have always waited for that day.”

“I believe this is the right time and right opportunity to fill the Indigo at The O2,” he said.

He further noted that several promoters have reached out to him to make that happen since his post on X.

“There have been several contacts from promoters to help make this happen after my post on but I’m only interested in Ghanaian promoters because I want it done our way,” he confidently added.

Patapaa made his breakthrough in 2017 with the release of his hit song, One Corner. However, some critics believe he lacked skill and that his success was purely coincidental.

The artiste expressed his displeasure at such thoughts stressing that persons who believe he was untalented and unfit for the music industry are only failing to recognize his talent.

Patapaa said he is stern on reversing the negative labelling and ridicule from critics which he said has affected his career.
